Please note the following.
Ceremonial cacao is a sacred plant medicine known for its heart-opening and uplifting effects. While it is generally safe for most people, it’s important to honor your body and know that cacao does have physical effects that may not be suitable for everyone.

• Cacao contains Theobromine, a natural stimulant similar to caffeine. It can increase heart rate and blood flow.

• If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, are on antidepressants (especially MAOIs or SSRIs) or have serious medical conditions, please consult your doctor before participating.

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should take a reduced dose or avoid cacao altogether, depending on personal sensitivity — feel free to reach out in advance for guidance.

• Hydration is key — cacao can be dehydrating, so please drink plenty of water before and after the ceremony.

• Listen to your body, and feel free to rest or adjust your intake if needed.
